The sidecar enclosure is a compact, ergonomic, environmentally hardened design that stores up to 2 flat pack passives and up to 6 Tyco fiber trays with user friendly features such as a lightweight plastic housing, pre-routed color coded fibers in the fiber trays, forward and reverse test points, and easy migration to DWDM using built in upgrade ports. ARRIS thoughtfully designed optical passives offer numerous benefits compared to standard passives offerings: passband width at 7.5 nm for more consistent performance over time and temperature fluctuations, full temperature stability in both indoor and outdoor designs, color coded wavelengths in both headend and field styles for simplification of installation, operation and maintenance, test points and upgrade ports as standard, various configurations, connector types and splitting ratios available.
